Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and provide patient care at the Budge Family Medicine Clinic in East Logan, Utah. The role emphasizes accurate data gathering, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork to ensure high-quality visits.

Qualified candidates will have MA training or RN/LPN experience, BLS certification, and comfort using EMR systems. Intermountain offers education assistance and a comprehensive benefits package to promote caregiver

Qualifications

Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah
Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date
Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Providing Patient Care under the direction of the Clinician and assisting the provider during visits
Effective communication with patients via multiple channels including in-person and phone
Team collaboration with cross functional groups to support patient care
Attention to detail and follow-through in delivering patient care
