Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education as required by certification/licensure.
• 0–12 months of experience preferred; 1 year related experience is a plus.
• Must hold a current CA LVN license and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physicians and assist during treatments.
• Administer medications by subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal, subdermal or oral routes.
• Document nursing care and maintain patient records electronically.
• Take vital signs, apply dressings, collect specimens, and assist with exams and procedures.
• Renew prescriptions when providers are unavailable and coordinate referrals.
