Goodman Dermatology, located in Dawsonville, GA, is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to oversee the dermatology nursing team and manage day-to-day clinical operations. The role collaborates with Providers, Medical Assistants, Front Desk staff, Office Managers, and patients to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality care.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 1–2 years medical office experience, and 2 years supervisory experience in a medical environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical environment.
• Ability to lead a team in a dermatology office.

Responsabilidades

• Manages assigned staffing to fulfill provider and patient needs; liaises between clinical staff and providers.
• Monitors patient flow in real time to keep wait times as low as possible.
• Orders and maintains clinical supplies.
• Evaluates staff performance, including coaching and performance management.
• Encourages and supports process improvements to promote fiscal responsibility and improved patient care.
• Oversees patient flow processes; develops strategies to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Troubleshoots patient and staff issues; responsible for patient satisfaction and complaint resolution.
• Performs Medical Assistant tasks as needed and leads a team of Medical Assistants.
• Assists in training of new staff as needed.
• Implements current policies and procedures with clinical staff.
• Keeps logbooks up to date; serves as a company representative to health inspectors.
• Ensures timely response to voicemails and triage.
• Performs monthly quality assessments; ensures OSHA and Bio-waste compliance.
• Works well in a team environment; travels between 2 locations.
