Job summary

Scripps Health in Carmel Valley is seeking a full-time supportive clinician to participate in rooming patients, take photos and assist in consultations. The role includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and performing clinical procedures in a cosmetic/laser dermatology setting.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVNs, MAs and Patient Service Representatives to deliver exceptional patient experiences and maintain high standards of care across the dermatology services

Qualifications

• Direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Rooming patients and assisting with photos, labs, and procedures.
• Able to follow clinical protocols and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Partakes in rooming patients and involved in taking photos, consultation documentation, laser hair removal, lab draws, and more.
• Ensure patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Patient care includes assessments, care tasks, triage, procedures, and medication administration.
• Works with the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
