Job summary

QualDerm Partners LLC is seeking a Grossing Technician in Illinois to support the laboratory's daily operations. You will grossly assess dermatologic tissues for processing, document details, and prepare specimens for subsequent analysis.

This role requires a 1–2 year laboratory background, a bachelor or equivalent science coursework, adherence to PPE and safety rules, and willingness to travel to other lab sites as needed. Competitive pay and robust benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 60 semester hours with science focus plus lab training
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred
• Compliance with PPE and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Grossly assess dermatologic tissues for processing
• May perform gross dissections under supervision
• Complete accessioning and slide send out tasks
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Observe PPE during handling of specimens and chemicals
• Travel to other lab locations as needed
