Job summary

Peraza Dermatology Group is seeking a Front Desk Assistant to greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, verify insurance, collect copays, and schedule appointments across multiple NH/VT locations. The role includes occasional travel to nearby clinics within a 35‑mile radius and mileage reimbursement as approved.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with at least one year in a professional office setting; Dermatology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a professional office setting; healthcare preferred.
• Dermatology experience preferred but not required; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out patients; collect payments; verify insurance.
• Answer incoming calls and alert clinical staff on patient arrival.
• Schedule appointments and manage cancellations.
• Prepare face sheets and attach paperwork for upcoming appointments; verify referrals.
• Ensure front desk runs smoothly and assist with coverage at MOH clinics when needed.
