Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Front Office Assistant to support ambulatory/physician office operations, including patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals under supervision of Practice Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months clerical/off ice or customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and phone responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and maintains compliance with department standards.
• Handles multiple tasks, answers phones, takes messages, files lab reports and medical records.
• Performs word processing and spreadsheet data entry.
• Performs charge entry and cash handling.
• Liaises between physician, patient and insurance for referrals/authorizations.
• Maintains regular attendance per policies.
• Ensures a clean, organized office environment.
