Dermatology Associates is seeking a reliable Float Medical Assistant to join our Lake Oswego office. The role balances administrative and clinical duties, assisting with patient flow, rooming, dermatology procedures, and EMR scribing on an iPad.

Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. Qualifications include MA certification from a nationally accredited program, 1 year outpatient experience (dermatology preferred), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited program.
• Minimum one year of outpatient MA experience, dermatology preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient flow and rooming.
• Assist in general dermatology procedures and surgery
• Support providers and patients with ED/EMR tasks
• Scribe Electronic Medical Records on an iPad
• Perform lab duties and phlebotomy
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinic
