Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to administer injections and draw blood.
• Strong documentation and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and treatments under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Guide patients from waiting room and prep them for examinations.
• Interview patients and update medical records; collect detailed information.
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for tests and imaging.
• Perform routine patient tests and collect specimens.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations as directed; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings and assist with procedure-related tasks.
