Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED; CMA certification required.
• <1 year experience in medical assisting preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CMA certification from NCMA, CMA, CCMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CMAC listed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and treatments under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures.
• Interview patients and update medical records; ensure paperwork is ready.
• Record vitals: pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height.
• Collect samples for laboratory processing and perform basic tests.
• Administer routine medications and vaccines as directed; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings and remove sutures as needed.
