Job summary

The Gabrielson Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) teammate to join our expanding Dermatology office in Webster City, IA. This full-time position offers 32 hours over four days per week within a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Responsibilities include taking histories, vital signs, assisting with procedures and handling scheduling, phone calls and prescription refills. Travel will be required; PTO, 401K, and medical/dental insurance options are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (required)
• An ideal candidate would possess:
• At least one year of medical assisting or other healthcare experience
• Knowledge in medical terminology
• Proficient in medical scribing
• Personal traits align with positive energy and customer care

Responsibilities

• Take patient medical histories, obtain vital signs and assist with procedures.
• Administrative duties: scheduling appointments, answering calls and prescribing refills.
• Travel will be required
