Job summary

OakLeaf Clinics - Dermatology in Wisconsin seeks a full-time Clinical Assistant to support providers in patient care, intake, and medication administration. You will room patients, take vital signs, handle prior authorizations, and assist clinicians with daily tasks, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

The role requires an accredited Medical Assistant program, BLS certification, strong communication, and attention to detail. Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care notes.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate with multitasking ability.
• Prior Epic experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical assistant care under supervision.
• Collect patient information and document accurately.
• Assist with office procedures as directed.
• Prepare equipment and aid clinicians during treatment and testing.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage forms.
• Telephone instruction to patients and families within licensure.
• Greet patients and prepare them for examination.
• Screen patients for necessary information; maintain flow of patients.
• Ensure accurate measurements and patient safety during procedures.
• Respect patient confidentiality and maintain records.
