Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Clinic - Dermatology for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position in Bellingham, WA. The RN provides professional nursing care in the clinic/outpatient setting, coordinating care within a collaborative team and documenting care in the health record.

Qualifications include an active RN license in Washington, Accredited School of Nursing, and BLS. One year of RN experience is preferred; strong communication and patient education skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year preferred experience as a registered nurse.
• Registered Nurse in state of practice and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in clinic/outpatient setting.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document care in the health record and promote patient education.
• Support quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention programs.
• Triage calls and screen inquiries related to care, prescriptions, or referrals.
• Respond appropriately to urgent situations and maintain professional effectiveness.
• Promote positive interpersonal relationships and family-centered care.
• Maintain familiarity with ambulatory care regulations and patient privacy.
