Job summary

ODDITY is seeking an Associate Scientist to anchor dermatology assay workflows, executing and optimizing experiments that support target validation and screening. You will work with PhD scientists, own bench execution, and contribute protocol improvements while training junior staff.

You will conduct cell-based, biochemical, and phenotypic assays, support in vitro safety packages, and assist with ex vivo tissue studies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on lab experience in cell/molecular biology.
• Proficiency in multiplex immunoassays, qPCR, and cell-based screening.
• Experience with documentation discipline: ELNs, lab notebooks, SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Execute and troubleshoot cell-based, biochemical, and phenotypic assays (ELISA, MSD, HTRF) and flow cytometry.
• Run in vitro safety packages including genotoxicity, phototoxicity, sensitization, and irritation screens.
• Support ex vivo human skin explant studies and IVPT/Franz diffusion experiments; coordinate with analytical partners.
• Maintain cell lines, reagents, and lab inventory; ensure QC and traceability.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, ELN entries, and data packages for internal/external handoff.
• Perform basic data analysis and figure preparation for updates.
