Job summary
The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA/CNS) to join the Dermatology team at Union Hospital in Dover. The selected candidate will provide high-quality dermatologic care to patients of all ages.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dermatology experience, strong full-body skin exam skills, and proficiency in common dermatologic procedures. New graduates with dermatology rotations will be considered, with EPIC EMR experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year dermatology experience in high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in comprehensive full-body skin exams.
- Skilled in soft tissue biopsies, intralesional injections, ED&C, liquid nitrogen therapy and skin KOH.
- Familiarity with phototherapy referral is preferred.
- New graduates with dermatology rotations may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
- Perform and interpret routine dermatologic procedures.
- Prescribe and monitor medications within licensure and policy.
- Educate patients about diseases, treatments and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
