Job summary

Ohio State University Physicians seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its Dermatology team in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves comprehensive assessments, treatment and coordination of care for patients with acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in nursing, NP/PA certification with Prescriptive Authority, and at least 3 years of dermatology experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing and successful NP/PA education program completion.
• Certification as NP with Prescriptive Authority.
• Dermatology-specific experience in a clinic or practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations on new and returning patients.
• Collaborate with physicians to formulate treatment plans.
• Conduct health assessments and develop patient care plans within protocols.
• Triages clinic calls and coordinates follow-up with providers.
