Job summary

IU Health's Dermatology team at University Hospital seeks an RN with at least one year of experience to join a busy ambulatory practice. The role covers coordinating care, triaging patient needs, assisting with dermatologic procedures, and supporting in-office surgery days. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification through the AHA.
• ASN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active Indiana RN license or NLC RN license.
• Two years ambulatory setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment and supplies in the clinical area.
• Ability to coordinate multiple patient functions efficiently.
• Awareness of legal implications of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for a group of patients in a timely manner.
• Triage patient needs and coordinate clinic operations.
• Assist with dermatologic procedures and in-office surgery days.
• Educate patients throughout their care journey.
