Job summary

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center seeks a fellowship-trained dermatologist to provide pediatric and adult dermatology care within a collaborative urban outpatient setting.

The position emphasizes evidence-based, compassionate care and multispecialty collaboration while offering a flexible part-time schedule. Registration as a New York State dermatologist is required; prior dermatology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice dermatology in New York State
• Board certification in Dermatology or eligible for certification
• 1–2 years of dermatology experience preferred
• Ability in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver dermatology care for adult and pediatric patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to ensure high-quality care
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care and participate in team-based care activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Fluency in Chinese, Spanish, or other languages is a plus, though we provide live translation services for all patients. Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule, including opportunity to work on weekends only
• Responsible for dermatology care for adult and pediatric patients referred from the Health Center's primary care sites
• Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure that patients receive the best in dermatology care
• Provide quality care to patients
• Participate in all activities for the multidisciplinary team-based approach for the care of adult and pediatric patients
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State
• Certification or eligible for certification in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology
• One to two years of experience in practicing dermatology preferred
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Spanish is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $155 - $175 per hour
