Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Medical Assistant/Derm Tech to join our dermatology team. The MA supports dermatologists by providing clinical and administrative care, including patient rooming, taking histories, assisting with biopsies, scribing in EMR, preparing surgical trays, and educating patients.

Responsibilities include rooming, vital signs, assisting with skin cancer screenings, Mohs surgeries, sutures, cryotherapy, documentation in EMR, managing supplies and pathology,

Qualifications

• CMA/Dtech certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Able to perform duties of the job as described.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take histories, record vitals, and prep for exams.
• Assist with skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, cryotherapy, and cosmetic injections.
• Document encounters and treatment plans in EMR.
• Prepare surgical trays and manage pathology specimens.
• Educate patients and provide pre/post-operative instructions.
