Dermatology Specialists in the Twin Cities is seeking a Clinical Dermatology Technician (Derm Tech) to gain hands-on clinical experience while preparing for medical school or PA school. You will work with the Clinical Manager and physicians to deliver dermatology services and patient care.

On-site training is provided, and you can complete a 16-hour Derm Tech online course before starting. The position starts at $20.00 per hour for full-time employment, with comprehensive benefits after

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in science-based program required.
• Previous medical field experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor and privacy awareness for patient information.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rooming techniques and assisting physicians with procedures.
• Preparing patients for examinations and obtaining history as directed by the physician.
• Assist with biopsies and select surgical and cosmetic procedures.
• Take patient calls and relay information between patient and physician.
• Accurately maintain the pathology process.
• Coordinate triage priorities and patient care needs.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures and medications.
• Sterilize equipment and clean exam/procedure rooms.
