Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking a derivative operations specialist to support the end-to-end lifecycle of derivative trades, including validation, settlements, collateral movements, and risk controls.

The role partners with investment teams and external counterparties to maintain accurate books and achieve operational excellence. This hybrid position requires 4–7 years of derivatives operations experience, a finance-related degree, and familiarity with Aladdin or similar

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required; all majors considered.
• 4-7 years of experience in investment operations, trade support, settlements, or derivatives operations.
• Strong knowledge of post-trade processes, controls, and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Support end-to-end derivative lifecycle, including validation, settlement, and collateral management.
• Process daily reconciliations with brokers and internal systems; resolve exceptions.
• Maintain accurate books and records and ensure compliance with controls.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc derivative reporting and metrics.
• Identify workflow improvements and drive automation to scale operations.
