Job summary

Chatham Financial seeks a Transactions Operations Specialist to support interest rate and currency hedging transactions. You will manage pre- and post-trade documentation, coordinate with clients and banks, and ensure accurate trade execution within our proprietary systems.

You will develop expertise in derivatives operations, regulatory processes, and documentation while helping to standardize workflows and improve efficiency across hedging operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience preferred.
• Experience in document management, trade operations, operational coordination, or process improvement preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines in a transactional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trade documentation with clients and dealer banks through the transaction lifecycle.
• Process transaction details and maintain documentation in proprietary systems.
• Support ISDA documentation by coordinating with specialists, attorneys, and counterparties.
• Review economic terms pre- and post-execution for accuracy in trade entry and records.
• Assist clients with settlements by coordinating funds flow and confirmations.
• Track and report transaction operations activities and timelines.
• Ensure compliance requirements including KYC/AML are met with related teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce operational risk.
