Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking an experienced Derivatives Operations Analyst to manage daily collateral activity for ISDA, GMRA/MRA and MSFTA agreements. You will ensure timely margin calls, collateral movements, and reconciliations while supporting risk management.

Collaborate with brokers, counterparties, client teams, trading, and tech partners to resolve issues and meet tight deadlines. This role blends teamwork with independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
• 2+ years of investment operations experience.
• Understanding of OTC derivatives products, agreements, and collateral a plus.
• Strong communication, high attention to detail, and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, issue, and respond to margin calls for OTC derivatives & MSFTA products.
• Process collateral movements (cash and non-cash) and lifecycle events (coupons, interest, etc.) accurately and on time.
• Monitor settlement and reconciliation activity, investigating and resolving failed trades, margin disputes, and valuation differences.
• Monitor collateral balances and eligibility schedules, ensuring usage aligns with legal agreements and internal guidelines.
• Act as a steward of risk and controls by maintaining strong documentation, procedures, and a focus on accuracy and quality.
