Job description

The Leidos NISC IV team is seeking a dynamic senior-level Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team.

The position will support the FAA's Eastern Service Area (ESA) NISC support team, providing excellent customer service to FAA customers across the eastern US. The NISC IV contract offers technical and scheduling support for projects involving towers, buildings, and other large facilities.

This position is fully remote and must be located in the eastern part of the US.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) from an accredited college.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Primavera Project Scheduling Software.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like Excel and Tableau.
• Knowledge of KSN/SharePoint for managing information.
• Strong research, evaluation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong business acumen and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing and scheduling employees and programs/projects.
2. Administer FAA task orders, including budgeting, invoice analysis, and subcontractor oversight.
3. Participate in establishing goals, policies, and procedures for project success.
4. Coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessment, and personnel development.
5. Interface regularly with FAA personnel and other stakeholders.
6. Lead technical teams comprising Engineers, Air Traffic Specialists, and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• FAA engineering and project management experience.
