Job summary

Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit seeks an experienced Software Project Manager to oversee multiple software development efforts under SITE III DO. The Deputy Program Manager will coordinate with customer leadership, manage IMS reviews, and lead planning, cost estimates, and technical approaches to tasking.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and full-time work in a SCIF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph.
• Experience with Agile development and AWS architecture and hosting, general knowledge database design, webservices, and UI design.
• Experience planning, scheduling and tracking software development.
• Experience in software development and managing software development teams/projects.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proven expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project.
• Ability to multitask across multiple efforts.
• Past experience managing program cost and funding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Fulltime work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple software development efforts and O&M of deployed applications.
• Coordinate with project leads to gather status and ensure timelines are met.
• Create cost estimates and detailed technical approaches to customer tasking.
• Review IMS deliverables and prepare Program Management Reviews.
• Lead briefing sessions with customer leadership and provide real-time technical exchanges.
• Ensure QA and risk management tasks are performed.
