Qualifications

• Must possess current/active AZ POST Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts traffic and criminal investigations, identifies, collects and protects evidence; conducts interviews with victims, witnesses and suspects.
• Responds to emergencies quickly using department vehicle and emergency equipment to determine best response.
• Maintains patrol duties, identifies and responds to in-progress criminal activity and maintains community safety.
• Attends required training as specified by POST and the agency.
• Documents incidents, requirements and conditions in reports and communicates with the public and staff.
