The Newport News Sheriff's Office is seeking a lateral Deputy Sheriff to bring your experience to a department that respects your time and career growth. You’ll perform critical law enforcement and public safety duties across divisions, with a focus on consistency and community service.

This role offers a clear path for advancement, a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, and a work schedule of 14 days per month with 12-hour days or nights and every other weekend off.
