• Investigates accidents and crimes, gathers information, preserves evidence, and prepares reports.
• Conducts forensics on crime-related devices and coordinates with agencies for investigations.
• Maintains records and logs, issues citations, makes arrests, and processes prisoners.
• Plans, coordinates and educates the public on safety issues; participates in community outreach.
