Job summary

Brule County is seeking a Deputy Register of Deeds in Chamberlain, SD to assist the Register of Deeds in daily operations. Responsibilities include recording and indexing documents, data entry, and issuing vital records.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Record and index documents.
• Data entry of documents.
• Assist with daily cash balancing of fees collected.
• Issue death, birth, marriage certificates, licenses and Veterans’ records.
• Perform general office duties (phone, fax, scan, email).
