Represents the State of Washington as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney handling felony cases in Superior or Juvenile Court, including complex and serious criminal matters, and may also prosecute misdemeanors in District Court with a high level of proficiency. Responsible for managing a high-volume caseload efficiently while performing all duties of a DPA I-Criminal. Work is conducted with professional discretion in accordance with legal standards, ethics, and office guidelines. This is a full-time, exempt position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
Work Environment:
Primarily office and courtroom-based, Monday–Friday, with possible in-county travel. Duties must be performed on-site (no telecommuting).
