Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support the day-to-day management of the Business Process Improvement Program in Washington, DC area. You will coordinate Agile workstreams, deliverables, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, and risk management, serving as the Project Manager’s alternate to ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience supporting business process improvement or modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Experience using Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be US citizen.
  • Work from client office in Washington, DC and Guidehouse office in Tyson's Corner, VA.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum Seven (7) years of experience in IT.
  • Five(5) years of project management experience.
  • Experience supporting business process improvement or modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Experience using Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be US citizen.
  • Work from client office in Washington, DC and Guidehouse office in Tyson's Corner, VA.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have
  • PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile certification.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients.
  • Experience with federal financial regulators.
  • Experience coordinating multi-workstream delivery programs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, financial services, or data modernization environments.
  • Experience preparing executive-level communications and reporting.

The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
