Job summary

Catapult Solutions Group seeks a Deputy Project Leader for SES to design, build, and sustain electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (sponsorship available).

The role involves running day-to-day project operations, managing change orders, and coordinating with owners, contractors, and design professionals on multi-million dollar projects. Travel to CONUS sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS (Preferred EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Experience on projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
• CPM Scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Blue Beam, and PDF.
• Accubid Estimating (or equivalent) preferred for electrical installations.
• Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project.
• Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution.
• Price, track and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses.
• Maintain as-builts and document project issues/conditions.
• Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
• Read and interpret blue prints and project specs.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss matters.

Clearance/Citizen Type: Must be a US CITIZEN with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (clearance will be sponsored if not already possessed)

We are seeking a Deputy Project Leader to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Education:

• BS (Preferred EE or Industry related degree) with 5+ years of progressive experience.

Experience:

• Related Construction experience with five years' working for an electrical or construction contractor.
• Experience working on construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
• Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings on projects.
• Must have strong interpersonal and writing skills and be a problem owner/solver.
• Proven ability to effectively plan and organize one's own activities or the activities of others.
• Proficiency with Computers including MS Office, Blue Beam, and PDF.
• Accubid Estimating (Or equivalent) directly related to Electrical Installations is preferred
• Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling Experience and proficiency (or equivalent) is preferred
• Ability and Willingness to Travel to project locations as needed if preferred

• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Communicate with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, the government, and general contractor representatives.
• Clearly understand the timeliness required for decision making, submission of RFIs, and documentation of all verbal conversations or agreements.
