Responsibilities

• Develop tracks and provide analysis of procurement data and packages to improve quality, schedule and efficiencies.
• Collect procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority to be used in acquisition plans and to determine resources and track procurement packages.
• Prepare the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement identified.
• Establishes and maintains data library of documents and work order files; ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS and NSWC Crane QA Guide.
• Provide recommendations concerning policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Regulations and Directives for FAR and Non-FAR requirements.
• Liaise between resource sponsors, program/project managers and the US Navy contracting department.

Mayvin is seeking experienced applicants for Program Manager II to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center located in Crane, IN. Must be US Citizen.

Clearance Required: Yes - Active Secret Clearance

Location: Crane, IN (On-site)

Position

Contingent upon award of Contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracks and provide analysis of procurement data and packages to provide recommendations to improve quality, schedule and efficiencies
• Collect procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority (RTA) to be used in acquisition plans and to determine resources and track procurement packages
• Preparation of the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement identified
• Establishes and maintains electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing. Ensures organizational adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS to include NSWC Crane Acquisition Quality Assurance Guide
• Provides recommendations concerning policies and procedures to ensure adherence to the Regulations and Directives for both FAR and Non-FAR based requirements
• Liaison between resource sponsors, program/project managers, their staff and the US Navy contracting department

Required Skills Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline with 10 years or more professional experience in program/project management
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma green belt (highly desired)
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups
• Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS - Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA (compliance)
