Job summary

Converge Networks Corporation seeks a Deputy Program Manager — Operations to drive day-to-day execution of a major DISA/DITCO telecommunications transition. You will lead a large operations team handling customer outreach and transition ordering across tens of thousands of orders.

The role requires a strong background in telecom order management, cross-agency coordination, and QA/QC. Remote work is allowed with travel to Scott AFB, IL area as needed and potential CONUS travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (business, operations management, telecommunications) or 4 years of directly relevant experience.
• 8+ years of operations or project management experience in telecom order management or high-volume transactional operations.
• Experience managing a distributed team of 15+ staff on high-volume, deadline-driven work at comparable scale.
• Direct experience with telecom ordering systems and the start/discontinue order lifecycle, including QA/QC.
• Experience coordinating across government offices, vendors, and customer agencies to resolve order-processing issues.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a Tier 1 (T1/NACI) investigation.

• Educate customers on contract scope, services, terms, and transition planning.
• Own the Transition Handbook and coordinate with Guides.

• Maintain the transition tracking database and ensure accurate reporting.

Deputy Program Manager (Operations) — DoD Telecommunications Program (Scott AFB, IL area / Remote)

Converge Networks Corporation (CNC) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager — Operationsto drive the day-to-day execution of a major DISA/DITCO telecommunications transition effort.

This role owns the program's largest and most operationally intensive task area — customer outreach and transition ordering across roughly 70,000 individual orders spanning ~35,000 DoD telecom services — freeing the Program Manager to focus on enterprise-level accountability while you run the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day supervision of the customer outreach and transition ordering team — the majority of the program's ~25-FTE staffing model
• Own customer service support — educating customers on contract scope, services, terms, and transition planning
• Own the Transition Handbook, coordinated with GSA-developed guides
• Own the ordering assistance workflow — QA and tracking of ~35,000 Start and ~35,000 Discontinue requests
• Own vendor and Government coordination for schedule adjustments, cutover planning, and disconnect confirmation
• Own operational use of the transition tracking database, ensuring accurate weekly/daily/cumulative reporting

• Bachelor's degree (business, operations management, telecommunications, or related) — or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu
• 8+ years of operations or project management experience in telecom order management or high-volume transactional operations
• Experience managing a distributed team of 15+ staff on high-volume, deadline-driven work at comparable scale
• Direct experience with telecom ordering systems and the start/discontinue order lifecycle, including QA/QC
• Experience coordinating across government offices, vendors, and customer agencies to resolve order-processing issues

Nice to have:

• Experience with DISA Storefront / Store Front Order Entry or similar ordering system
