Job summary

Culmen International LLC seeks an Alternate Program Manager to support the AFCAP VI Program Management Office for an Air Force contract. The role serves as the designated alternate to the Program Manager, maintains continuity, coordinates task orders, and ensures compliance with government requirements.

The ideal candidate has an active Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and PM experience managing multiple task orders above $400k, with strong communication and stakeholder-management

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least two years of program management experience in the last seven years.
• Experience with Government appropriations and acquisition processes.
• Experience managing multiple task orders valued above $400,000.
• Ability to coordinate geographically dispersed teams and meet tight timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated alternate to the Program Manager and exercise delegated authority for contract and task-order matters.
• Support day-to-day Program Management Office operations and AFCAP Management Plan implementation.
• Coordinate multiple task orders, Site Managers, leads, partners, and subcontractors across dispersed locations.
• Support 24/7 on-call readiness, urgent proposal actions, mobilization, deployment, and mission-response activities.
• Monitor cost, schedule, staffing, quality, safety, security, procurement, and risks.
• Ensure actions and records comply with contract requirements and applicable laws.
• Prepare and review program reports, briefings, action-item trackers, and corrective-action plans.
• Maintain effective communication with Contracting Officer, Government PM, customers, Site Managers, and leadership.
• Verify personnel qualifications, clearances, training, and deployment documentation.
• Assume Program Manager duties during absences to ensure uninterrupted leadership.
