Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to oversee the development, administration, and monitoring of federally funded programs and projects in the United States. You will ensure eligibility under local, state, and federal regulations, maintain documentation, and provide high-level expertise across project management, compliance, and reporting.

You will lead a team to manage spending, performance, and client relations, while ensuring timely, quality results and adherence to program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• 3+ years’ experience with state and local governments, required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to monitor program activities and prepare for federal audits.
• Proven cross-functional team leadership and client relations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spending and project progress tracking.
• Interface with client agency and senior program staff.
• Ensure timely, high-quality results and excellent client service.
• Lead Team Leads and Case Managers.
• Perform other duties as required.
