Job summary

Paragon Technology Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support leadership and execution of a Department of State cybersecurity services program.

The role involves serving as a secondary contractor point of contact and working with the Program Manager on staffing, schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day performance, primarily onsite in Washington, DC. Candidates should have at least eight years in federal IT or cybersecurity programs, a PMP or equivalent credential, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent credential.
• Experience managing complex federal government programs, preferably cybersecurity/IT.
• Experience coordinating personnel, schedules, deliverables, staffing, risks, and resources.
• Experience interacting with Government customers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assume broader responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as secondary point of contact for contractual, administrative, and performance matters.
• Support program leadership, resource planning, staffing oversight, scheduling, and coordination.
• Interface with government stakeholders to address issues and report status.
• Act as Program Manager’s deputy and assume PM responsibilities when needed.
• Assist in directing cybersecurity activities including RMF, A&A, FISMA compliance, and risk management.
• Monitor staffing, assignments, schedules, and workload.
• Track contract activities, milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with technical leads, ISSOs, system stakeholders, and government representatives.
• Develop management briefings, status reports, and risk registers.
• Contribute to Program Management Plan, staffing approach, communication structure, and risk processes.
