Job summary

Imagineeer is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to coordinate pilot readiness and execution on an acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. You will keep the many moving parts aligned, from vendor demonstrations to integration working sessions.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in IT project management with federal experience, strong scheduling and facilitation skills, and the ability to pass contractor security vetting to obtain a PIV credential.

Job description

Imagineeer is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to coordinate pilot readiness and execution on an acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. You will keep the many moving parts of a parallel two-tool pilot aligned, from vendor demonstrations to integration working sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate pilot readiness and execution activities across technical, security, training, and change teams.
  • Plan and run vendor capability demonstration logistics.
  • Schedule and facilitate integration working sessions.
  • Maintain the deliverables tracker and support status reporting.
  • Back up the Program Manager on schedule, risk, and stakeholder coordination.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 6 or more years of IT project management or coordination experience, including federal projects.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, demonstrations, or technology pilots.
  • Strong scheduling, tracking, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to pass the client's contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a PIV credential.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • PMP or CAPM certification.
  • Experience on acquisition or enterprise system modernization programs.
