Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs, coordinating engineering, production, and customer-facing activities. You will monitor schedules, costs, and risks, preparing status reports and driving actions to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project and team management, PMP certification preferred, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent in work experience.
  • 5+ years of Project and Team Management; Process Improvement; Strong personal project management skills.
  • Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates product sustainment activities with external customers and internal functional areas including engineering, production control and manufacturing.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders in the products under development as product moves through all phases from concept to production
  • Monitors project schedule and cost by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
  • Identifies and recommends solutions to problems that may impact project cost, schedule or product specific objectives
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
  • Assists Sr Program Manager in reviewing project costs
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Assists in creating PMR slides for upcoming PMRs & tracks Cost Status Reports
  • Ability to input invoices and deliverables to the Wide Area Workflow
  • Tracks and maintains contracts and their period of performance
  • Alerts Senior Program Manager or deputy when contracts are in need of attention
  • Backup liaison to the DCMA for getting deliverables to the customer

Responsibilities

Pay may range from $109,000 to $117,000 annually


The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.


Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits.
