Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager at our North Charleston, SC site to lead program delivery and oversee performance across scope, schedule, and cost. You will manage risk, customer relationships, and staffing to meet baselines under direction of a PM.

The role requires substantial experience in program management, contract financials, and a proven ability to lead large teams (75+ FTE) while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must have 10+ years with Bachelor’s, 8+ with Master’s, or 5+ with PhD/JD.
  • Extensive MADIS knowledge desired.
  • Experience leading 75+ FTE and managing contract financials, scheduling, risk, and customer expectations.

SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for our North Charleston, SC customer site.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM
  • Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and elevate challenges to SAIC leadership
  • Support business development and program staff management
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience
  • Extensive knowledge of MADIS desired
  • Experience leading 75+ FTE
  • Experience with contract financials, scheduling, risk management and managing customer expectations
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
