Job summary

AAR in Utah Ogden is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a range of program execution activities across operational, managerial, administrative, and financial disciplines, reporting to the Program Director. Travel is required and ITAR compliance is mandatory; candidate must have 5+ years in program management or government contracting and strong communication.

Candidates should hold a BA/BS/BBA and have experience with USAF depot maintenance or aviation supply chain programs; proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BBA or 15+ years related experience.
• Minimum of five years in program management or government contracting.
• Experience with USAF depot maintenance or aviation supply chain programs preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ITAR compliance and U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide variety of program execution activities in operational, managerial, administrative, and financial disciplines, as directed by the Program Director
• Responsible for internal program metrics and financial/operational reporting
• Responsible for management and execution of program repatriation activities
• Oversee overall program supply chain performance supporting remanufacturing activities
• Facilitate periodic Program Management Review meetings with the customer
• Support continuous improvement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality, delivery and cost targets at all program operating locations
• Anticipate problems and work to proactively mitigate them
• Travel is required
• All other duties as assigned

What you will be responsible for:

• Support a wide variety of program execution activities in operational, managerial, administrative, and financial disciplines, among others, as directed by the Program Director
• Responsible for internal program metrics and financial/operational reporting
• Responsible for management and execution of program repatriation activities
• Oversee overall program supply chain performance supporting remanufacturing activities
• Facilitate periodic Program Management Review meetings with the customer
• Support continuous improvement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality, delivery and cost targets at all program operating locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from four-year College or university; or fifteen (15)+ years related experience
• Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in program management or government contracting
• Prior experience with USAF depot maintenance or logistics, or management of aviation supply chain management programs is strongly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
