Job summary

Tampa Microwave, a leading satellite terminal manufacturer, seeks a Deputy Production Manager in Clearwater, FL to coordinate production readiness, testing, procurement, and NPI handoffs. The role interfaces with Program and Product Management to ensure smooth production launches and compliant documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in digital/microwave hardware integration/test, ability to manage equipment and schedules, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance on hire
• AS degree or military equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in integration and test of complex digital/microwave hardware
• Ability to lift test equipment up to 25 lbs and some domestic travel
• Fluent in English (written and oral)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production readiness and documentation during launches
• Manage test assets, equipment inventory, calibration scheduling, and maintenance
• Lead procurement and outsourcing for production equipment, tooling, and services
• Serve as production interface for New Product Introduction (NPI) and handoff from development to production
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR export control requirements
