Qualifications

• Forensic Pathology board certification or eligibility
• Forensic Pathology fellowship required/preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform autopsies and prepare reports of findings and documentary evidence
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings or hearings
• Manage Forensic Autopsy Technicians and student interns
• Review and approve cremation permits; coordinate with NAME standards
• Develop divisional policies and mass fatality plans; educate staff and students
