The role balances technical leadership with strategic group management and administration, providing oversight across personnel, resources, and program delivery.

The successful candidate will lead high-impact projects in nuclear non-proliferation, space domain awareness, and data analytics, while ensuring mission objectives are met with safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to model collaborative leadership in an R&D environment.
• Experience in conflict management and resolution.
• Experience navigating a large, complex institution with many systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, technical, and operational leadership for ISR-6 and deputy group leadership across projects.
• Mentor and develop staff, align staffing with program needs, and manage performance and career development.
• Marshal resources, manage facilities and computational infrastructure, and oversee group administration and budgets.
• Ensure timely delivery of quality products and services within budget and schedule.
