An established public health department is seeking a Deputy Director to lead community health initiatives in Wake County. Anticipated Start Date: This position is part of the newly established Public Health Department, effective July 1st. We are proceeding with recruitment efforts so that the selected candidate may begin on or shortly after July 1st.
In this newly established role as the Deputy Director of Public Health - Community Health, you will oversee and manage a variety of public health programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of Wake County residents. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to implement effective public health strategies and ensure compliance with all regulations. Your leadership will drive key community health initiatives and help address the needs of the population.
