Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Deputy Director of Federal Funds to lead budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities for federal funding. This role oversees budget teams (MCS, AES, HDIS, IDDBH) and coordinates mid-year reviews, LARs, and Governor's Office submissions.

Under the Federal Funds Director, you will train staff, manage contracts, and engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective use of federal funds and compliance across HHSC

Qualifications

• Proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting.
• Experience leading staff and budgeting teams.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership in budget planning and policy development.
• Oversee budget teams and financial reporting across multiple programs.
• Coordinate agency budget submissions and fiscal notes with state offices.
