Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean, seeks a Deputy Director of Advanced Product Development to lead strategy, oversee multi-disciplinary programs, and ensure seamless translation from concept to commercialization.

You will partner with executives, shape roadmap across HVAC, heavy machinery, power systems, and drive design for manufacturability, modular architectures, and scalable platforms while building a high-performing engineering team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
12+ years of engineering and product development experience in complex manufacturing.
8+ years of executive or senior leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering.
Experience launching products in HVAC, heavy machinery, power systems, or industrial sectors.
Proficiency with CAD/PLM tools and simulation software.
Familiarity with global compliance standards and Stage-Gate/Agile development.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive product development strategy aligned with long-term growth.
Lead multi-disciplinary engineering programs spanning mechanical, electrical, controls, and software.
Champion DFM, modular architectures, and common platform strategies for scalability and cost efficiency.
