The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee dedicated to electing Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports campaigns through services like field operations, fundraising, communications, digital strategy, research, and management consulting. Supported by contributions from individuals, organizations, and Democratic Members nationwide, we seek talented professionals committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.

Note: Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to termination at the end of the election cycle.

Position Summary:

The Deputy Digital Candidate Fundraising Director manages digital fundraising campaigns alongside the Digital Candidate Fundraising Director. This role oversees daily digital campaign operations for key U.S. House races, collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective implementation, including advising on copy, segmentation, and targeting. The role involves working with campaign and firm teams to optimize revenue across digital channels. Candidates should be creative, diligent, and passionate about Democratic campaigns. This is not a standard 9-5 role; evening and weekend work may be required.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Manage the creation of emails, texts, and donation pages, ensuring quality standards in grammar, accuracy, and functionality;
  2. Assist in managing firms and vendors supporting fundraising efforts;
  3. Collaborate on best practices, acquisition sources, and industry trends to enhance fundraising results;
  4. Advise on testing, segmentation, and deliverability for additional programs;
  5. Review content strategy and performance metrics with stakeholders;
  6. Support development of departmental initiatives such as capabilities-building and infrastructure improvements;
  7. Manage online partner fundraising programs to extend campaign reach;
  8. Edit digital fundraising copy for clarity and accuracy;
  9. Perform other duties to support the Digital Fundraising team’s success.

Requirements:

  • Experience with email and SMS fundraising for political campaigns (at least 2 cycles);
  • Management experience of online fundraising staff (preferred);
  • Familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, and other CRMs/donation platforms;
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is required; additional coding skills are a plus;
  • Graphic design/video skills (preferred);
  • Strong writing skills and ability to produce digital copy quickly;
