Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of relevant experience in professional accounting or auditing.
• Current, valid licensure as a CPA by the Colorado Board of Accountancy.
• Experience with CORE or other large financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Central Accounting Operations for the Department of Labor and Employment.
• Ensure GAAP and GASB compliance and accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee budgeted expenditures and revenues; support audits.
• Train staff on CORE implementations and accounting processes.
