Salary Range: $37,404.00 - $60,502.00
Estate Clerks require an ability to read and understand the statutes and procedures for estate administration and record keeping, an understanding of basic accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make timely decisions with accuracy. Estate Clerks meet with attorneys, representatives of other agencies, and the public and must be able to tactfully and diplomatically explain rules, policies, and procedures. New hires may be paid above the minimum rate depending on education and experience in a North Carolina Clerk of Superior Court office.
